The Emory Winship Cancer Institute is dedicated to finding answers and providing excellent and compassionate care for cancer patients. Citizen Studio worked with Winship in 2007 to establish a new identity system for their Celebration of Living. This annual event celebrates the day-to-day life of cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

The flexible identity system features an iconic butterfly motif. Each year it changes enough to be new yet keeps its family resemblance. We reduced the number of inks used in years past and printed the invitations on an economical, FSC-certified paper with 10% postconsumer waste. Companion materials include small quantities of digitally printed promotional posters, volunteer T-shirts, and signage templates.
