Who built the electric car?
January 27, 2010
On Sunday, January 17, Citizen Studio took a trip to Lenox Square mall to see Nissan’s new electric car, the LEAF. According to the LEAF web site, the four-door sedan can cover 100 miles on a fully charged battery and tops out at 90mph. The manufacturer explains that they will provide a home assessment to determine a suitable place for installing an electric charging station as part of the purchase process. In addition, Nissan is working with governments and companies to build charging stations at shopping malls, service stations, and other public locations.
The LEAF is expected to be available later this year, but Nissan has not revealed the pricing yet.
