Hands on with Seaside 265
September 5, 2008

This week we printed the labels for the first release of wine for Seaside 265, a personal winemaker in Jamestown, Rhode Island. Our clean design is based on the map of Jamestown printed beneath a type treatment inspired by the winemaker’s modern home. Our goal was to blend modern design with an artisan feel, so we chose to produce by letterpress printing. We printed with our good friends at Praxium Press, using chlorine-free, 100% cotton paper, soy-based inks, and a low V.O.C. wash for cleaning up the press.
View our client Dave’s photos here and stay tuned for the finished project.
